Artist's Description
Yellowstone National Park is a national park located primarily in the U.S. state of Wyoming, although it also extends into Montana and Idaho. Yellowstone, widely held to be the first national park in the world, is known for its wildlife and its many geothermal features such as Old Faithful Geyser. The Yellowstone Park bison herd is the oldest and largest public bison herd in the United States. This digital painting of a bison and calf is based on an original photograph taken in Yellowstone by Jayne Wilson in 2015.
The artwork in this poster earned an Honorable Mention in the 5th Annual "Animals" art competition at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery in November 2015.
