Artist's Description

This emu at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is pretty sure we have treats in the car and is staring us down, while his cohort stands in front of the car to ensure we don't drive on!

Guests to Fossil Rim can buy bags of high protein treats for the animals, but the only ones that are really safe to feed by hand are the giraffe. The other animals, such as this emu, can nip if you're not careful and guests are advised to toss the treats to the side of the road where the animals can nibble them off the ground.

A portion of the proceeds from sales of this photograph will be donated to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center.

If you like my artwork and photography, please take a moment to "like" and/or comment. I would be most appreciative if you would share it on Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, twitter etc. This will help promote my photography online and enable it to be found by others on internet searches. Thank you so much.

When she was introduced to the 3D digital graphics program Bryce in 2004 a whole new world of artistic possibilities opened up to her. Since that introduction, she has branched out and expanded her skills and now uses Vue Esprit and DAZ 3D to create art in a variety of styles, including landscapes,...
